We encourage students to be active and participate in all that is available here at Melville Intermediate School.  Melville Intermediate provides opportunities for students to play sport in and out of the classroom environment.  These opportunities range from competitive Inter-Intermediate tournaments, to recreational play.  Melville Intermediate has teachers and students who are passionate about sport and developement and strive to achieve in all sporting codes.


Melville Intermediate has a wide range of sporting opportunites.
We send sports teams to Sports Camps and AIMS (upper-north island and national competitions) and of course Inter-Intermediate competitions.  Volleyball, Hockey, Basketball, Soccer... these are just a small percentage of the competitions we send teams to.
Although we are a small school, we have seen quite alot of success at sports competitions.  We tend to surprise ourselves and others with our results.
